Dobarro brought the audience to its feet with the repertoire of her latest album Kaleidoscope. According to the critic Donato Decina, it was an ‘excellent concert (…) It was a revealing experience. The recital given by the Spanish pianist Isabel Dobarro, composed of the works that make up her album ‘Kaleidoscope’, soon to be released by the international label ‘Naxos’, allowed us to break away from the usual stereotypes, those that mark the presence of universally acclaimed composers, to instead disseminate works by current creators, some of which had the soloist as the dedicatee of these compositions’.
